On December 1st, HUG Community successfully orchestrated the ‘A Season of Intergenerational Love, Care & Hope’ fundraising event, a remarkable achievement made possible by the unwavering commitment of numerous individuals who graciously devoted their time. A sincere expression of gratitude to all participants; your contributions proved to be invaluable.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Guest of Honour, Minister Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of National Development, and our special guest, Mr Rockey Francisco Junior, Deputy Commissioner of Singapore Prison Service, for gracing our event with his presence and unwavering support for HUG’s Programmes.

Special recognition goes to Mr Vincent Ang Vince Ang, the founder of Vintage Studio - VS salon and his team for their steadfast support and collaborative spirit, which illuminated every facet of this event with unity and compassion. Vintage Studio is recognised for its deep commitment to the artistic industry and community engagement. This aligns seamlessly with our goals at HUG Community Services (HCS). Together, we aim to create a wonderful story of love and hope that transcends age and time. Hence, this day we marked the special date to sign this MOU with Vintage Studio is to establish a long-term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnership between HCS and Vintage Studio Pte Ltd, focusing on fundraising initiatives and the provision of training and job opportunities to HCS’s beneficiaries.

A genuine thank you to Brother Derrick for his candid testimonial, shedding light on the often unnoticed resilience and inherent strength within every individual. His openness fostered a deeper sense of unity and empowerment within our community.

While this event marks a significant milestone, there is still much work ahead. HUG remains steadfast in creating impactful programs for vulnerable youths, and their families and the desistors and your continued support fuels our journey towards a brighter, more inclusive society.
