Father's Day Celebration 2022
At HUG Community, we understand the pivotal role of positive family support in the rehabilitation journey of inmates and ex-offenders, crucial in breaking the cycle of reoffending. On Father’s Day 2022, in collaboration with the Singapore Prison Service, our dedicated volunteers organised a special flower arrangement workshop tailored for women inmates. These beautifully crafted bouquets, accompanied by heartfelt handwritten cards, were delivered to their fathers, marking a poignant moment for many—a first opportunity to gift their fathers. Beyond expressing gratitude, this event provided inmates with a platform to reflect on their past, extend amends to their families, and foster the rebuilding of familial relationships.
