HUG 10th Anniversary Gala 2024

On the 13th of July, we gathered with immense pride and gratitude to commemorate a milestone year at HUG's 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner. This prestigious event, themed "Decades of Hope, Celebrating Milestones" was graced by our Guest of Honour, Minister Chee Hong Tat, Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance, alongside our esteemed Special Guest, Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Minister of State for Home Affairs and Minister of State for National Development. Their presence underscored the significance of our mission in empowering and supporting our community, highlighting the importance of collaboration and dedication to social causes.
The Gala Dinner served as a platform to express heartfelt appreciation to our generous donors who have steadfastly supported HUG Community Services throughout the years. We extend our sincere thanks to Haidilao Huoguo, AW & SONS PTE LTD, Ms Lin Jie Lin Jasmine, Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd, ABR Ltd, Atomu Pte Ltd, Techtify Pte Ltd, Mr Kim Sam Yong Sang, Mr Liang Xin Jun, Hiap Hoe Limited, Nova5 Aviation Services, Ms Zhou YuTing, Ms Wei QingFeng, Vita Pro Pte Ltd and special recognition to Ms Wendy Huang for helping in fundraising. We also thank Jiangsu Association and Julia Joes for their oil painting donations. Your contributions have been instrumental in enabling us to expand our outreach and impact more lives positively.
The evening was enriched by the captivating performances from the youth dancers and the soul-stirring Er Hu performance by Che Yi Shu Carol. Additionally, we were deeply moved by the heartwarming testimonies from our dedicated student volunteers, Cheryl and Desmond, who shared their transformative experiences with HUG Community Services. Their stories of compassion and resilience underscored the profound impact of our programs on individuals and families within our community.
As we celebrated a decade of service and achievement, this event symbolises our commitment to continue fostering a compassionate, inclusive, and supportive environment for all. With renewed vigour and dedication, we look forward to advancing our mission and creating lasting change in the years to come.
