On 6 March, HUG Community brought Courage, Mercy, and Holy to the Wellbeing Centre at Hwa Chong Institution for the first session of the year under Project Pawsitive 3.0 under HUG Healers Programme session.
This session marked a meaningful start to the year, as Project Pawsitive 3.0 also welcomed a new team on board. It was a wonderful first step, and we are excited to see the team continue to grow, strengthen their bond with one another, and deepen their connection with our therapy dogs over the months ahead.
The continuity of these sessions is especially meaningful in a school setting. Having regular, familiar visits creates a safe and comforting space for students to pause, recharge, and feel supported amidst the demands of school life. Over time, these consistent interactions can help foster emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, and provide students with moments of calm, connection, and encouragement when they need it most.
Through every visit, pawshake, and quiet moment of companionship, we hope to continue creating warm, supportive spaces through the healing power of animal-assisted interactions. Here’s to a meaningful year ahead with Project Pawsitive 3.0!
