On June 29 2024, we celebrated an unforgettable Mai Gong Bo Jio event, thanks to the incredible partnership with Cathay United Bank and the generous support of our wonderful sponsors—WPG Holdings, Chungwha Telecom Singapore Pte Ltd, the Taipei Business Association in Singapore, and Evergreen.
The day was brimming with joy and laughter as our community came together for a memorable popiah-making workshop. Our elderly were delighted in crafting and savouring their own fresh and delicious popiah rolls, immersing themselves in this hands-on culinary experience.
But the fun didn’t stop there! Our lively host kept the energy high, orchestrating a series of games and dances that had everyone laughing. The amazing employees of the organisations also volunteered their time and joined in the festivities, spreading joy and making the day even more special with their enthusiastic participation.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of the Chairman and board members from Cathay United Bank and our other supporting organisations. Their involvement and support were truly inspiring, underscoring their dedication to our shared mission of fostering community spirit and connection.
As a delightful finale, our seniors went home with goody bags, ensuring they left with smiles and cherished memories from this special day. After the buffet, volunteers distributed additional goody bags to residents in surrounding blocks too , spreading joy and fostering community connections beyond our elderlies.
