We welcomed 2026 at Mount Faber in a simple and meaningful way. On the 1st of January, HUG came together with Radin Mas CC to welcome the new year alongside residents through our HUGs Healer Programme. Our therapy dogs Courage, Mercy and Holy spent the morning meeting residents, offering calm companionship and easy smiles. Simple moments made that morning special. It was a peaceful way to step into a new year, grounded in presence and care.
Starting the year this way reminded us why community matters. Healing does not always come in big gestures. Often it shows up through warmth, trust and time spent together. Seeing residents connect with the dogs and with one another set a hopeful tone for the months ahead. We are grateful to Radin Mas CC for making this morning possible and look forward to building on this beginning.
If the first day of the year is any indication, there is much to look forward to in the collaborations and connections yet to come.
