HUG Community had the pleasure of supporting the Project Pawsitive Official Launch on the 13th of September under our HUGs Healers Programme. The event at our HUG Centre saw our Hwa Chong Institution student volunteers present their project in front of Minister Chee Hong Tat , Minister of National Development , Ms Grace Ho, Deputy Principal of Hwa Chong Institution, and their Project Mentor Mrs Anuradha. Their dedication over the past year was clear, as the students shared the impact and thought behind their work.
What stood out was not only the presentation itself, but the sense of belief it gave the Project Pawsitive team. To have their efforts recognised by their school leaders and guests were an important affirmation of the time and energy they have poured into this initiative. Mrs Anuradha and Ms Grace Ho also spoke warmly about the project, recognising the care and effort invested by the students. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to Mr Chee Hong Tat, Pastor Grace Yeo, and Reverend Jeff Mak, acknowledging their guidance and support.
The morning that highlighted the meaningful collaboration between students, mentors, and our HUG Healers Programme, showing how consistent effort and empathy can leave a lasting impression on the community. We are proud to have walked alongside them in this milestone and look forward to seeing how Project Pawsitive continues to grow in impact and heart.
