Visiting Upper Thomson Residents - Special Interview with Mr Chee Hong Tat! 2024

On 17th of February was a day filled with warmth, connection, and invaluable insights as our HUG team had the honour of visiting Thomson residents as part of our Healers Programme. Amidst their Chinese New Year festivities, we shared about HUG's various initiatives and programmes, aiming to spread positivity and uplift spirits.

What made the day even more special was the presence of Mr. Chee Hong Tat, Minister for National Development, who graced the event with his presence. One of our remarkable students seized the opportunity to conduct an insightful interview with him, delving into topics ranging from what he thought of our programmes to his plans in supporting HUG Community.

As we engaged with the residents, we were reminded of the power of empathy and the profound impact of simple acts of kindness. Through our interactions, we not only shared about HUG's mission but also forged meaningful connections and fostered a sense of belonging within the community.

The Healers Programme embodies the essence of HUG – spreading love, compassion, and hope wherever we go. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, to uplift, and to make a difference in the lives of others. Together, let's continue to spread courage and mercy, making our world a brighter and more compassionate place for all.
